I too had to sleep sitting up for a few weeks earlier this year (broken shoulder). I found the most comfortable for me was ..normal pillow..delta (triangle pillow).... then a normal pillow across the top of the V of the delta pillow.
This made a kind of armchair to support me. As for slipping/sliding down the bed.....a SECOND delta placed on the mattress (V towards bottom of bed), then my behind lowered strategically into it helped me to stay in upright position for longer!!
Sounds like a bit of a faff but worth it!
