You lot probably know this trick for an easy way to change duvet covers, but I've only just discovered it - so much simpler than the weekly fight I usually have. smile

I tried it but wasn't convinced that it was any easier than the lift and shake method, so think I'll just stick to that after using it for about 50 years! It as interesting to try it though, so thanks, grannyactivist

That should have been "was", not "as". Concentrate when!!

I tried it too. Too much running around the bed which resulted in it taking twice as long, and my patience running out! Back to the old 'shove the corners in and shake' for me!

I tried this, it really is that easy! Being the first time, I had a bit of a struggle with the corners ( tucking them in) as I have a king size duvet. I will definitely do it this way again as it is better than climbing inside the cover and wrestling with the corners.

Easy??? I don't think so!!
Lay the duvet on the bed with the cover at the head end. Push the top corners of the duvet up to the top corners of the cover, fasten with giant clothes pegs. Then slid the cover down the duvet, tuck the bottom corners in, do up the buttons and voila! If I can do it anybody can without that dreadful fiddle. I am only 5'2" and it is a super king.
And as for the same person's way to fold a fitted sheet, I have never seen anything so convoluted grin Lost the will to live before she finished.
