wot think mum used basic 8ozSR flour-4oz suet pinch salt,streaky bacon and chopped onion laid on rolled suet pastry...then steamed ..yummy..and dads pants ..steam for few hours..

yes my nan used grandads old ones as a "puddin clorf" in a bowl or wrapped sausage shape in greaseproof, pudding was then wrapped in greasproof and "clorf" wrapped round either basin at top tied with string or sausage shape tied at both end, with string and steamed till cooked,I am sure grandads pants added to the steamy atmosphere when cooking,as did dads pants when mum made bacon and onion roll the same way....nans spotted dick was out of this world,especially cold next day with butter and sugarxx

You can't tell if there are "any issues" with black ones. And mine does change the sodding things daily!

All black Pringle trunks changed daily.
A couple of white pairs to wear under white trousers when playing bowls.
Never any issues.

I am about to reveal all. Mr. Lavande buys his underwear mostly from TKMax when we are in the UK. He likes bright colours in that tight boxer style. The best bit is that he IRONS them himself........in fact he does all the ironing. Lucky me, or what?

I am very happy to say that in 48+ years underpants have never been an issue in our household. I have never used non bio powder except for the babies, I think bio powder is only a problem if you tell people you have used it ... mind over matter.

I use a Vanish bar for stubborn stains. Rub it on like soap and leave it for a while before washing. Luckily I don't have either OH or DSs resident nowadays.

My mum used to dry them in the oven!!

jings do you live next door to my vet's surgery? The lady living there seems to take a pride in her whites and there is always a line of white undies ( male and female) blowing dazzlingly in the wind. I always think she must boil them in a pan on the stove.

He does have clean ones very day. He is not a grotty bloke! He's just not one of thos rare blokes that wipes it. He is a quick shake man.
