Fold a fitted sheet neatly

M and S sell fitted sheets for deep mattresses too.

I take my bed stuff off the line/out of the tumble drier and put it on the bed ... no folding, no ironing at all! Actually hardly iron anything.

I'm of the Thingmajig persuasion. Wash, dry,use. Life's too short!

I couldn't even watch it all I can't be doing with all that the way I do it will do when you put it on the bed the creases come out lol

John Lewis fitted sheets are great.
I have seen this sheet folding video before and tried it but it was too much faff.
I have, however, seen other videos about ways to fold/roll socks/knickers/tights which I have copied and found really useful. My drawers are much neater and things are easier to find plus I think the methods suggested are ideal for holidays and travelling. Once I had copied the method I found it easy to remember - I can't say the same for the fitted sheet folding lark as I do that less often.

I put the whole set of top sheet, bottom sheet and pillowcases into one pillowcase and tuck it neatly onto my shelf. Job done. Who cares how the bottom, fitted sheet is folded? but... not a bad way of doing things.

Oh really, I think that woman has got a touch of the OCD'S.

Just fold or roll, it's not rocket science. They always get stretched out on the bed anyway.

I brought my extra deep fitted sheets from Amazon and they are brilliant fit over my mattress perfectly. The worst thing I find with fitted sheets is not folding them it is hanging them on the line to dry I find where the elastic is takes for ever to dry .

I'll never do it but it looks brilliant!;-)

I have just tried folding a fitted sheet like the video. How sad is that! Anyway, it was easy and I will use this method in future!

I tried fitted sheets many years ago and they drove me absolutely twitty.?
I am a bit of a fidget when I sleep and I always woke wrapped up in said sheet feeling extremely uncomfortable.
Good old fashioned flat sheets using 'hospital corners' to secure cannot be beaten. They stay in place all night.
PS: My dream if I ever win the lottery is to have the best cotton or linen sheets available, and to have someone come in daily to change them for fresh ones.

I'm laughing at the posters whose husbands re-folded their sheets! Don't think my DH could find his way to the linen cupboard if I gave him a map and a bloodhound!

The sheet-folder looked very happy with her achievement, but I don't think it would have so much impact on me. Might try it, but don't hold your breath.

I am a princess. Always iron sheets and always fold as shown in the video with no training whatsoever - just logical way to do it.

I watched the video on putting on a duvet cover - you roll up the duvet and the cover. It didn't work and I got into a mess.

OMG. All the above sounds like hard work. I bet all you lot have airing cupboards with actual shelves? Mine has pillows for shelves (don't ask). Eight years ago I asked DH to fit slatted shelves like the ones he installed in our previous house and he's still 'getting round ' to it. So the reason I don't fold the bed linen beautifully is because the pillow-shelves collapse regularly and the whole lot ends up in a pile on the floor.

We have an odd sized bed, between King and super King, which I bought in a sale ages ago, without thinking about fitted sheets. Eventually I found a company that makes any size to order, but they are expensive and when one of the last lot wore out I just went and bought a nice pure cotton flat sheet in superking instead. And then wondered why on earth I hadn't done it before. Perfectly comfortable, never comes untucked, and folds up beautifully, not that I'm overly bothered about such things.
I would still need to get a mattress protector made to order if the current one ever wears out, but touch wood it's still going strong.
