There's a whiff in my cupboard, in my cupboard a whiff.
Evening all, just went to get a pyrex dish from the cupboard in which all such dishes are kept, along with freezer containers and the odd item that Mr P puts in there by mistake, (despite being told SEVERAL times that mixing bowls go in the next cupboard along
) and it's back!
It's an earthy, damp sort of smell, and pretty strong. When I noticed it before, I took everything out and thoroughly cleaned it (not that it was "dirty") then wiped over with a solution of bicarb.
Everything that is in there is clean (of course), I may sometimes not make leave the bed to air, and I was once known to shave only one armpit when wearing a dress with a single sleeve (luckily it was the correct armpit
) but I'm not a complete slut!
There is no sign of mould or mildew, so I am stumped as to what to do.
Any ideas?
I am procrastinating and need to stop!
Welsh Senedd Election - PR in action. This will be interesting!

sorry !
) but dry rot can creep into woodwork invisibly. It gets its moisture from long tendrils stretching back to dampness elsewhere, that is why it is called dry rot, it doesn't seem damp itself. It smells a bit like you describe.
