Has any one used/got these on their bathroom walls instead of tiles (i.e mermaid/multipanel/shower wall etc.) If you have are they any good and would you recommend them, we are about to change our bathroom and have a shower cubicle installed.

I found this service panels for walls and I loved it. The designs are really beautiful and varied. I thought it was a good idea to recommend it, since they work inside and outside and all types of rooms and panels. www.panelsforwalls.com/

Would definitely recommend having panels for any shower unit. We had our bathrooms done about 3 years ago and had panels in the shower cubicle but not the en-suite which has a bath with shower over it. The panels are so easy to clean, we use a hand-held water vacuum which is great. Just need to use a soft cloth for the chrome taps. Wish we'd had the panels put around the bath too!

We have a utility room which is basically what used to be called a 'lean-to' It frequently had black damp marks on the walls and needed regular repainting despite various treatments. We had plastic panels fitted around the whole room and so far so good! Admitted we don't pour water on them (as happens in a shower) but so far they have not needed as much as w wipe off! Good luck with whatever you decide.

Blatant advertising, cheeky.

We had them in a hard water area and had no problems at all. They were sort of shiny but not high gloss and very easy to clean. Thoroughly recommend them.

Not only the shower cubicle, the entire bathroom, as recommended by the plumber. The best thing we ever did.

Forgot to add it’s eight years since the bathroom was refitted.

So pleased to read your post FlipFlop00, we are in the very slow process of redoing our bathroom. Partner fancied these panels but I was against as could only picture them in some cheap accommodation I once stayed in and was put off. Will now spend some time looking into this, sounds like a marble effect, not too glossy is easy to clean. Must admit will be heaven to not have to bleach grout again :-)

Renovated a previous property with 3 en-suites. Did not want all the problems surrounding ageing grout and mildew. I used an independent bathroom shop who supplied and fitted. We accepted his advice and experience. There are a variety of manufacturers of shower / bathroom boarding... We chose three different colours and they were all stunning and have stood the test of time. The most stunning was black with silver speckles, second best was silver grey with silver speckles. We are in a soft water area and they always looked immaculate. The installer used
stainless steel joining strips and there was never an issue with moisture absorbsion. I could tell you the board we were advised to use but I think that’s advertising. Good luck. Far better than tiles. Perhaps that’s why many hotels use it.

Apart from the blatant advertising, I have another concern. Surely wood wool panels are for insulation which is not an issue in my bathroom.
I've had an all-white (tiled) bathroom for ages and now want some colour. I can see only variations of white/ grey/beige.
Anyone able to point me to something more vibrant?
Also wondering if any one has a loo with a triangular cistern to fit neatly into a corner.

I looked at the site mentioned mcem but although it seemed lots were recommending the same site I think it was fake reviews. I guess its somehow possible to set up numerous user names and then recommend something so that it looks as though its a popular item.
It was all wood wool which is definitely not what we were discussing. I googled bathroom panels and found lots for bathrooms -now just need to choose a colour...............

Pretty much what I was thinking vonners.
So far I have found panels in different materials and today I plan to discuss with the plumber which is best.
Still haven't found the choice of colours I want.
