Got a spare room in Edinburg? For a friend of a friend?

HELP please Edinburgh friends!! - I am trying to help a friend. A young Italian student 21 year old is desperately trying to find a room in Edinburgh. She is coming over for a work placement and is arriving this Friday 1st March until end of July. She has just now been let down in a most horrible manor by a private landlady. If you know of anybody who has a room to let or can recommend anything - please pm me.

so sorry I'm the other side of the country or I'd have offered a room .Tell her to try the outskirts maybe towards the airport as the trams run that far so she'll have transport into the City .Lots of guest houses etc in teh Murrayfield area

Loads of buses in Edinburgh. No problem getting around. I'd have thought that the University or wherever the student is attending would have lists of available accommodation?

Is she looking for free accommodation? Otherwise Booking.com would be worth a look.
