Shower/laundry Room

I am intending to change the bathroom into a shower/laundry room. Has anyone done this? Any pitfalls or successes would be interesting and helpful. It's not huge but currently has a very dated tiled cubical shower, bath, hand basin and loo. It's on an inside wall so no windows.

Just revamped our bathroom, the new extractor is much quieter than the previous one.

We had to have a pump installed for the new shower (previous shower was electric) and following the advice from our plumber regarding what to put under it, it's actually quieter than the electric one!
