I have had my Dyson stick cordless for about 9 years and it just keeps going, but it has some inherent problems.
It won’t “park”, it has to be propped against something if you need to leave it for a moment, and as it’s top-heavy it usually falls over.
It’s a pain having to hold the on switch throughout vacuuming, it’s tiring and would be difficult for many people.
The brush is very easily tangled with hair, which is a nuisance and reduces efficiency.
I’ve been waiting for it to die, but it just carries on and does a reasonable job and has good battery life. Can’t grumble really.
