Bungalow living royal life

Hi, has anyone sold their house and moved to a ready made village of static homes for over 45s, I have been looking at royal life by glows by the sea. Any advice or experience of this?

I remember going in one at the Ideal Home Exhibition years ago and being impressed by the size and layout.

The one I visited had large rooms plus an ensuite as well as a main bathroom, a good sized garden, garage and double parking.

Hmmmm, I would be very careful. I’m sure they are lovely communities (but might be full of curtain twitchers?) but beware of ongoing maintenance costs. Whatever the charges are now, as and when they rise would you worry about affording them?
Also check there are no onerous rules or restrictions in the contract about selling up in the future.
In your shoes, I’d take legal advice & don’t act in haste.
