Convert bathroom to shower room?

We live in a 3 bed semi, a family home even though there are only 2 of us. I am thinking about future-proofing now that we have both retired but want to get some opinions from others. Should we convert the bathroom into a shower room (it is the only one in the house, although we have very small a downstairs cloakroom). The bathroom is not large and at the moment we have a P shaped bath with a mains shower over it and curved glass screens. Has anyone else done this, and do you think it would affect the re-sale value eventually? Thanks for any advice you can give.

Trying to get this into perspective. How much would it cost to convert a bathroom into a shower room? Not a lot. Conversely converting it back by future owners would not cost a lot either because the plumbing will still be there. I certainly wouldn't convert it back when and if you decide to sell because you will spend money on something that your future buyers might not like.

We moved to our last home 2 years ago and put a new shower that's level with the floor. We put grab rails in and had both toilets raised on small platforms. I also re did the kitchen with all drawers, no cupboards. I can get right to the back and see everything.
As for future sale values, I don't care! What matters is the convenience now. Why would you worry about re sale?
