I was looking for a previous thread but couldn’t find it. Anyway, I thought I’d share my new buy.
My Dyson has been a nightmare for years being very heavy to use and not particularly effective on carpets or anywhere for that matter. I’ve read some of the Gransnet threads in the past so I made my. Mind up to buy a new cleaner.
Yesterday I ordered a Vax cordless and paid £219 for a machine with two batteries, included tools and a toolkit worth £50 with other attachments I was going to buy from Am…. but after exploring the Vax site I found I could buy a better model for the same price plus an extra battery. It came today.
Well, I knew the Dyson was not very good but what a difference. I’ve got beautifully vacuumed carpets, free of bits, fluff etc. It came with printable guarantees via email plus the invoice and 3 years guarantee with the machine and batteries already registered. I also printed the user manual from their website. It did stop working at least twice because the roller was clogged up. This was because of all the non-cleaned bits from the Dyson. So easy to declog and empty once I’d investigated the instructions.
I loathe housework but for once I’m very glad I’ve managed to buy a vacuum that works, is light weight and actually does what it’s supposed to do.
I don’t work for Vax but I’d really recommend this vacuum.
I might even get the vacuum out much more frequently. No more bits from sewing everywhere.
