My son was wearing a "vote Conservative" t-shirt and an "I love Boris" baseball cap. He's been spat at, abused, slapped around the head and told he's a brainless twat. God knows what's going to happen to him once he gets out of the house.

Great, made me laugh, worthy of being printed in Private Eye. I look forward to the new printing every month, when as I can't afford to buy l stand and read the jokes, laughing away to myself, as one old man said to me its a ray of sunshine every month.

That joke's more worthy of Viz than Private Eye.

????? Soooo funny. Can’t believe some people who didn’t find it funny had to make such negative comments. Ignore it next time if you don’t find something funny…..

Haha...I LOL at this Joke . .OMG some people ought to learn to laugh more on Grandsnet....grin

Tanjamaltija Sat 30-Apr-22 17:43:19

Erm... DV is never a joke. It's not a question of lightening up, really.

PattyFingers Sat 30-Apr-22 17:48:19

Fantastic, I wish I had thought of it smile

DiscoDancer1975 Sat 30-Apr-22 17:54:57

I must confess...I did laugh. On reflection, I too am tired of the whole Boris bashing. Well, any MP’s to be honest.

We’ve got so many bigger things to worry about.

Germanshepherdsmum - I assume you are a Daily Mail devotee!
Those of us who don’t think it’s really funny???

Germanshepherdsmum Sat 30-Apr-22 18:02:45

What a ridiculous assumption and totally wrong.
I find it tasteless. Do you have a problem with my having an opinion that differs from yours?

Nana4 Sat 30-Apr-22 18:15:21

Made me laugh!

Aveline Sat 30-Apr-22 18:23:42

That's the thing with jokes- people either find them funny or they don't. You can't make someone find something funny if they just don't.

Celia1475 Sat 30-Apr-22 18:32:58

It made me laugh! Thanks for sharing smile

HolySox Sat 30-Apr-22 18:34:52

Good joke. Needed a smile with all the depressing stuff going on.

Nana4 Sat 30-Apr-22 18:37:17

Boris Bashing is getting tedious, he is what he is! At least he makes me laugh in those sad times. Now shoot!!}

Biddysue Sat 30-Apr-22 19:04:35

????

GrannyGravy13 Sat 30-Apr-22 19:14:49

Change son to daughter do you still
find it funny?

Bella5 Sat 30-Apr-22 19:14:57

Why are you so aggressive in your posts? I have noticed this many times. If you don't find it funny don't post

Germanshepherdsmum Sat 30-Apr-22 19:33:30

That’s not being aggressive. It’s asking people to stop and think.

payens1 Sat 30-Apr-22 19:34:10

I think that's hilarious !!

MissAdventure Sat 30-Apr-22 19:35:10

Change the "victim" in any joke to a child.
Funny?
Probably not, but that's true about most things, most jokes, most sitcoms.
It just take it for what it is; a joke about an imaginary situation.

Callistemon21 Sat 30-Apr-22 20:04:19

It was the unexpected that made me laugh as I'd never heard it before.

I'm not an inhabitant of many internet sites and lead a very sheltered life!

Juicylucy Sat 30-Apr-22 20:16:09

That’s brilliant made me laugh out loud

Grammaretto Sat 30-Apr-22 20:16:54

Yes MissAdventure I often turn jokes around and put child, disabled person or Jew as the victim. Amazing how quickly you realise that jokes directed at people are just bullying.

I am definitely not a daily mail reader nor a Tory supporter and contrary to belief I laugh a lot at the jokes of a good comedian
I smile at the thought of Victoria Wood for example.
I have good taste that's all.grin

MissAdventure Sat 30-Apr-22 20:23:29

Here's victoria undermining impotence in a possibly unfulfilling marriage. wink

Do we mean this Victoria Wood?
