Hi. My garden apple tree is fully laden this year! I dread to think of the amount of apples I’ll have to prepare for the freezer! Any of you ever used an apple peeler corer gadget. Can I have some suggestions of to which successful one to buy. Thanks .

I use this one for apples. I also use it for potatoes, and roast both the potatoes nd the ‘core’.

Do you have to peel them? We don’t have an apple tree but I usually end up with stacks of a dd’s windfalls - I never peel them for anything like an apple pie or crumble. Sole exceptions are apple cake, and the few that go into the annual Christmas puds.
