Broadband Renewal.

Our broadband/phone contract with Plusnet runs out later this month. Hate having to sort this out as it’s an area I am not confident in.

We are on Unlimited Broadband and landline calls, also pay for international calls, which we don’t need going forward. Currently nearly £40 a month in total.

Full fibre is coming to our area, should be complete in about 6 months.

Have just been on phone to plusnet, have come off none the wiser really. She was talking about fibre to the cabinet, still keeping landline but not able to make calls, which I could manage without, £25.99.

Is fibre to the cabinet available yet? I don’t know. She said I sounded ‘unsure’ about it all, well, I am! Will have to ask DS.

Am quite happy sorting out car/ house insurances and suchlike, but still feel very nervous about broadband issues, I know that sounds feeble!
