Bathroom wall panels

Hello, I think I'm almost certain about having our bath taken out and a walk in shower put in. Can anyone recommend a brand of wall panels please? It is going to be an expensive outlay and I don't want to make a mistake. The first plumber who offered to quote recommends "going budget end" to keep costs down which I'm not at all happy about. He would charge the same in labour costs for budget or high end panels!

We are the process of having a bath removed and replaced by a walk in shower. The shower base is the same footprint as the bath.

The walls were tiled up to the top of the bath. We are having the panels put over the tiles. Where there are no tiles (below the bath level) the wall is being built up to the same level as the tiles so that the panels will be level and not wobbly.

The panels are from a company called Decopanel

As other have said, walk in baths sound like a good idea but you have to sit in them until the bath empties. Not ideal.

The panels are much better than tiles which get grubby and the grout discolours. We got ours from B&Q but I think any ones of decent thickness wd bevfine
