The cupboard under the sink - aggghhhhh!

I do double up and put into Garage.
Especially items like Dishwasher tablets, fabric conditioner, washing liquid /tablets.
Under my sink hasn't a great deal of room my kitchen was re done a couple of years ago we kept the waste disposal unit which takes up quite a space.
Also grabbed a Dresser my chum was getting rid of due to space that's also in the garage as well for my cooking tins. Handy for items you needs just occasionally.

I have tried very hard not to buy duplicate items since clearing my father's house and realised the extent to which he had been doing it! He didn't have dementia but can't have ever checked if he'd got an item before buying another. I was shocked when I discovered the quantity of stuff in the kitchen cupboards - then discovered there was an overflow cupboard in another room!

We had exactly the same thing when clearing out my inlaws' house! So many duplicate cleaning products, tins upon tins upon tins of the same thing - thought we'd managed to sort out most of it, then discovered another hoard in one of the bedroom cupboards!

Under the sink is fine, but any offers of help with the little room under the stairs? (shudder)

As in - light bulbs I wouldn't use, unnecessary tools, old bags for hoovers, even electric tools I can't use

I use my grandmothers' solution to this problem, and go through every cupboard and drawer in the house once a year, at least
I used to do this twice a year, grandetante but lack of energy means it's a slow process.

I’m the same, can’t bear tutt. One cleaner under the kitchen sink. Same in the bathroom.
My OH jokes that he daren’t stand in one place too long or he’ll be out the door 😄

That's funny MerylStreep my husband says the same thing. Maybe they could start a support group

Does anyone remember Murun Buchstansangur? He lived under the sink, our littlies used to look for him, back in the day
