The code is still available to use till midnight tomorrow. Enter MSESHARK1 at the checkout till midnight tomorrow (26th May) It's the anti hair-wrap cordless model. Was £169.99 instead of £280.

I bought a Shark last week, with a discount code from Martin Lewis website, saving around £100 on normal price and am very pleased with it. Will try and find a link.

By "misbehave" I mean that it isn`t picking up as well as it used to, despite having a thorough overhaul including a filter clean. It`s my 2nd GTech, the motor conked out on my first one, and rather than pay £68 for a new motor, I bought a new vacuum instead. I tried a Shark cordless, but everything was at the top, and I couldn`t cope with the top heavy feel of it, so sold it to my grateful daughter.

It's over a year old though - and so is obviously about cordless vacuums older than that.

Hellogirl1, there have been threads on this subject before, if you go to ‘search’, which you might find helpful. Personally I am very happy with my Shark, which comes with two batteries, and I can easily carry it upstairs.

What do you mean by "misbehave"? Gtech has brilliant customer service. Mine started to cut out, I phoned them up and they talked me through what the issue might be. I was then able to buy a replacement part, which was delivered the next day, and the machine is working perfectly again

I second this - their customer service really is good, and parts always delivered speedily.

I have had a GTech cordless for quite a while now, but it`s started to misbehave. I need another, but the gubbins need to be at the bottom, like the GTech, not at the top, I can`t cope with the top heavy feel. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
