'Elf' and safety I expect - in case people pull a muscle or something doing it alone.

I recently decided to turn my spare bedroom into a craft room formyself. Rarely have someone staying with me overnight (family who come to visit tend to go to stay with my local daughter who has a large house less than a quarter of a mile away). I do however enjoy knitting, etc and = like most knitters seems to accumulate a large and ever=growing stash of yarn, needles, patterns etc.

So I got rid of the sofa bed and put replaced that with some drawers and cupboards for all of this. Just in case someone does need to stay with me overnight any time I purchased a folding bed. Wanted one that was full size single (so many of these folding beds at just 2ft 6 inches wide), so did not have a lot of choice. Tried all local companies that sell beds, none had such a thing so had to go to Amazon.

Not a cheap one, so was rather surprised when it came requiring considerable putting together and the instructions clearly stated 'requires TWO people'

Asked my daughter to come to help me with this. This morning, thought I would read all the instructions, and make sure all the 'bits'' were there. I am disabled, so everything is done sitting down.

With little effort = within 45 minutes, all from sitting position I was able to put the whole thing together. All I got daughter to do when she came this evening after work was to tighten up a few of the screws.

Do wonder why these instructions state so emphatically requirement for two people to put this together.
