I have a linen cupboard in the spare bedroom I’m probably like you I love buying bed linen

Can you not leave the beds made up? As that would ‘store’ 10 sets of bedding for you automatically then just have a spare set of each size, it’s unlikely that you would need to change more than one set at a time whilst you have visitors

I keep bedlinen for guest room in drawer of same also good towels. I have used vacuum bags but they seem to lose vacuum after a certain time so best for short travel trips maybe or am I using cheap ones? I once had 17 duvets to cover the three seasons and tog values. Now trimmed back as less visitors but duvets are hard to dispose of.

I have the same problem. The linen is kept in under bed storage, but pillows and duvets have to be stored in a big attic cupboard as we have both winter and summer duvets and two pillows for each bed. I have tried vacuum storage for some and your post has prompted me to get some more bags so I can do the rest.

I have 2 sets of bedding per bed and one set for the very occasionally use inflatable bed. Thats it.

All kept in the airing cupboard with the 2 sets of towels for each bathroom, swimming towels and half a dozen extras. Thats all.

We moved in the height of Covid so when we went round the house there was a general reticence about opening doors that lead to cupboards, so what I thought was going to be a really large airing cupboard had limited space because it housed a big hot water cylinder. I can get some of my fitted sheets around it, but not so much as in our previous house. All my ironed duvet and pillow cases are spread between a pull out drawer under a divan bed and a two chest of drawers in spare bedrooms.

Thanks for the replies.

My under bed storage is limited. For various reasons.
For instance I have bunk beds[soon to be 2 sets]. Plus one bed is a pull out bed, so has another bed underneath.

Keeping specific bed linen in the specific bedrooms, is giving me food for thought.

I have a cupboard in one bedroom I used for linen, but when the room was occupied by visiting grandchildren, I couldn’t access it to retrieve bed linen for a surprise visitor for another bedroom.

I now put one set in the bottom drawer of each room (different size beds) and it is so much easier. After they have gone I wash and replace in the correct room.

The linen cupboard now holds a small amount of spare linen and is easier to keep tidy.

Under bed storage.

I don't have that much but I pack it in a pine chest I have in the bedroom...

I basically have bed linen for 10 beds.
I probably have the right amount of it for what I need. But there are not always 10 people living here!

As I am doing a major decluttter[have decluttered excess bed linen], it has dawned on me that I still am probably not making best use of what cupboards I have, to store it all.

Where do you put all yours please? When you need as much as I do.

And are vacuum packs useful, or a hindrance?
fwiw. I probably will need some or most of the bed linen, 3 times more this summer. Then probably once more before Christmas.
