Just wondering how you approach general housework, or maybe you have a cleaning lady.
As someone coming up to a BIG birthday next year, I don't have a set routine. I do like my home to look nice but as I live on my own in a recently built bungalow its fairly easy to keep it clean and tidy.
If I'm having an off day I will just do the bare minimum and catch up another day.
My friends of similar age are varied in their approach, one of them has an old terraced house, quite spacious and has a routine of doing the upstairs one day a week and the downstairs another day, It gets polished to perfection, despite her gradual decline in health. They could afford a cleaning lady but she says her husband ''doesn't like getting people in to do jobs''. By the way she is always exhausted and hasn't got time to do her Blossom word game. (certainly wouldn't have time to go on Gransnet}
I think most of the women I know are like me and do a bit of cleaning when they feel up to it. (some never feel up to it but so what, life's too short in my opinion.)
Or maybe I'm wrong and you are all paragons of housewifely virtue!
