Sticky silicone baking tins

I have used my deep oblong cake moulds for about a decade. Favourites are Cherry&Coconut and Carrot. They never stick. I always dust the insides with flour before filling. Eady to remove when cool by just squeezing the sides.

But yes, they do always have a sticky feel to them - even though I rinse them thoroughly and then put them in the dishwasher.

Throw them away. I would !

I m sure I read somewhere that there are now doubts about silicone being good for cooking I must try and find it
I ve never used it myself

Sounds as though they are still not clean, an oily residue? Try an oven cleaner on them, followed by a scrub with neat washing io liquid.
