Hi everyone,

I'm looking for recommendations for a company that sells heavy-duty curtains to use as a door for our house. The main purpose is to protect our home from UV damage and to offer some protection from rain. We also experience high winds in our area from time to time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

🤔

I'd suggest a sturdy door would be more practical than a curtain.

Could OP perhaps elaborate on how she plans to use a curtain as a door?

Do you mean to use on the outside?
If it’s used on the inside it won’t protect your door from the UVA

One new poster? enquiring, one new poster? offering a solution.
How convenient.

It's curtains for this thread, methinks.

I suggest you use a door as a door for your house. If anyone really wants curtain recommendations Jane Clayton is a great company.

What a weird request 🙃.

Why would you want to use curtains to keep out wind and rain? 🤔

Just close the door! 😂

speaking of curtains, humour and set ups -
does anyone remember the deadpan Carol Burnett
(on the Carol Burnett Show)
with the ‘Gone with the Wind’ curtains ?
