Pensions being paid while parents are still alive.

I know of a few cases where the offspring are claiming their pension at the same time as their parents.
As they are likely to follow their parents on length of life I think the offspring should work until both parents have been deceased for 5 years and not be paid any pension during that 5 years occupational or state.

Pensions are usually paid for life, Frank - so what's new?

I agree gracesmum.
I worked for my first employer for 33 years.
As my pension was paid early as they made me redundant I could be a pensioner for longer than I was working for them.

I see bentley has gone to ground again. Have they come round with his medication? (Oops that wasn't meant to sound quite as unkind as it came out) blush

Just a stirrer post, I think. Totally illogical.
