Does that depend on which pension, the old or the new? There is a £40 difference between them depending on whether retirement was before or after 2016.

If you are in receipt of the full state pension, then you will not be eligible for Pension Credit. That tops up money for people just short of that amount.

As you say you also have a private pension AND are likely to continue to work, it almost definite you will not be eligible.

Speak to your local Age UK or visit Citizen's Advice. They will have advisors who can help you work out what benefits you could be entitled to. Do not forget if your income is low you will also be entitled to Council Tax benefit and, if you rent, Housing Benefit.

If you are entitled to a disability benefit, this can lead to enhanced rates for Pension credit etc.

MeryStreep, thank you have read above link but i'm trying to see if i keep on working past June, will i still receive the working tax credit disability element along with my State Pension and can't find this anywhere. Have checked Gov.uk and cannot see this mentioned...any advice is appreciated!
