I’m not sure if I’ve imagined it, but I heard a snatch of an item on the radio, where (Goldman Sachs?) it’s forecast the price of gas will actually plummet!
I hadn't realised the disparity in the rise in the costs of electricity and gas. Heavy gas-using households (like ours with our geriatric gas aga) will feel the pinch a lot more than households who rely more on electricity.
Radio 4's excellent Wednesday morning (9 a.m.) programme looked at what the likely cost of the Energy Cap will mean to individual households - and to the country.
Thought it might be worth flagging up because I heard someone say something that suggested their annual household bill COULDN'T GO beyond the Truss limit.
