So, from April those who are on certain low-income benefits will get three cost of living payments or around £300, adding up to £900. There will be one after April 2023, one in the Autumn and one in the following spring.
Those on certain disability benefits will receive one payment of £150 in the summer.
Those entitled to winter fuel payment and are above state pension age will get a top up of £300 in the winter. This is the one I feel needs further clarification. Last year it was an additional £250 or £300 depending on whether you are over or under 80.
