Stairlift extended warranty

2 years ago I had a stairlift installed, and paid for a 4 year, Silver, extended warranty.
Last week, I received two letters from the company, asking if I would like to extend the warranty, now that the manufacturers two year warranty was ending.
When I took out the extended warranty, I noted down all that was said to me, and also the person's name. According to him, the guarantee would run until 2027.
I have emailed the person writing to me last week, and asked him to put in writing, the exact terms and conditions that I should be receiving.
How long do you think I should wait for a reply?

I would think 10 working days are more than enough. It sounds as though the right hand does not know what the left is doing or worse, they are trying to extract money out of you perhaps thinking you would not notice.

Thank you Charleygirl5.
My third email was to them this morning, and saying that if no answer was forthcoming, I would contact Resolver.
Guess what, I have now had an answer from them, practically by return, with a copy of the extended warranty and promise of one through the post.

It' s such a shame that it takes a threat to get customer satisfaction though.

I had a very similar issue when I registered a new freezer a few years ago; I was asked if I wanted to extend the warranty. at that point for a small fee, I agreed as the call handler told me that it included cover for the freezer contents. A few years later I discovered that it didn't cover the contents .......... I don't touch Domestic & General with a bargepole now!
