P**d off with Barclaycard

I am a long-standing user of Barclaycard and, although I dislike doing financial stuff online, I have been happily using their perfectly good website for viewing statements etc. Now I find they are doing away with the website and wanting everyone to use the Barclaycard app or alternatively Barclays online, which, being lucky enough to live in a town with a branch I have so far resisted.

Although I hate this obsession with apps, I dutifully went to Google Play to download the Barclaycard app, but reading the reviews has completely put me off. Every review is 1-star and gives the impression that the app is simply unusable.

I realise people are more likely to leave a review when things go wrong, so with that in mind is anyone on here using the app without any issue? I am sorely tempted to stop using Barclaycard and pay for everything with cash at this point.
