Hi everyone,
I have been putting in more hours than I even want to think about, getting not one but two Gransnet Local sites up and running! (With the support of Lara at GNHQ of course!)
Now we need to start creating awareness about their existence, and, hopefully, arranging local coffee meet-ups and other events smile
So, if you live in Sussex (the sites are Brighton & Hove, and Worthing) can I ask you to show your interest (and support) by signing up to whichever is closest to you?
If you are a local business owner or involved with organisations or charities etc. in the area, you can post a listing yourself. Likewise, if you'd like to let others know about events, attractions and so forth, you can add a listing (Once you've logged on to the local site)
I've also set up Facebook pages and Twitter accounts for those of you into Social Media grin I doubt I can add all 6 links to one post on here, so I'll do it in easy stages ...
firstly, the websites:

local.gransnet.com/brighton-hove

local.gransnet.com/worthing

Well done NannaAnna! smile Hope it all goes 'swimmingly'.

NannaAnna Mon 21-Jan-13 09:17:15

Oh dear grannyactivist grin
I will resist the urge to respond with another simile, or who knows where we'll end up wink

Elegran Mon 21-Jan-13 10:33:56

Better not make too many quips or NannyAnna will be telling all those who consider themselves comedians comediennes to take a long walk on a short pier.

NannaAnna Mon 21-Jan-13 22:51:07

That would be the remains of the once-great West Pier in Brighton then Elegran
It is very short these days wink

Elegran Mon 21-Jan-13 23:33:42

And it used to be the classy one!
