Eight of us had a very enjoyable time lunching together at the Coach House at the Trafford Centre. Lots of chat, exchange of books, a good hearty meal - never heard of Apple Betty before, but we all know about it now!
We must do it all again soon.

What a suspicious mind you have, GA. Sorry to disappoint you, but I think every one of us was driving. Responsibly of course.

Not sure there was any alcohol consumed at all on this occasion, but the empty glasses denote how busy we were chatting that we kept forgetting to order our food or more drinks (I think we got away with that without anyone noticing, Ann )

Lovely to see all those familiar faces, and our friendly waiter Lukasz made it his mission to look after us all - what a sweetie! Can't wait till we do it again

It was so great to see everyone again - and what a bargain our lunch turned out to be, especially the extra pud and cust -aaard!

Please accept my apologies if I interrupted you/spoke when you were speaking - my hearing aid was certainly tuning into the background muzak, so I don't always pick up quite what's going on. I'm even worse when I've had a drink ...
