smileAs there are a few Herts gransnetters who have shown an interest in meeting up, let's do it! I will start the ball rolling by suggesting a possible date but please, anyone who is interested, come forward with your preferred date and venue! We are a bit spread out so as a first suggestion, how about Pearces farmshop cafe on the A10? Ware might also be a good location, and Fanhams Hall does a fab afternoon tea. That would have to be booked of course, which I am happy with, but others might prefer a more 'open house' approach? As it's Easter next weekend, how about the following week, say Wednesday 30th? Please all you local girls (or boys!) of any age, join us for a get together. I would love to meet you all! smile

I had a lovely time, too. Thanks to all for coming and especially to jacqui60 for getting us organised. Looking forward to the next time, when hopefully we'll be joined by some more Herts Gransnetters.

Made DH to to the 'hand ' car wash at weekend, he is certain it's because I am meeting with the grans.

Yep, on to it. Burnt orange cross-shoulder bag, just been "$%£ hair (it's never tidy) foot wear - undecided.

mrshat Mon 21-Apr-14 20:55:02

Charleygirl could you manage the Brent Cross suggested as a meet up venue on another thread? Just a thought smile

mrshat Mon 21-Apr-14 20:50:31

Even Watford?grin

goldengirl Mon 21-Apr-14 17:59:31

Would Borehamwood or Potters Bar be any good for future meetings Charleygirl - and others? Assuming the one on the 29th is successful!

Charleygirl Sun 20-Apr-14 19:29:01

I live in Harrow London

goldengirl Sun 20-Apr-14 18:59:51

Where are you Charleygirl? If the get together is successful perhaps we could move around the County a bit to give others a chance

Charleygirl Sun 20-Apr-14 10:11:30

Basketcase thanks for the address etc. The cafe looks lovely but I am afraid that it is too far for me. Enjoy yourselves, I am a trifle envious!

BasketCase Sun 20-Apr-14 09:28:19

Charleygirl, do hope that means you are able to join us on 29th. Here's a link to Pearce's Farmshop's website showing their location and giving directions. www.pearcesfarmshop.com/location
