I think it's about time we met up again - in about three weeks' time? Hands up who agrees? And who has a suggestion for a venue?

whenim64 Sat 19-Apr-14 20:15:35

Me-eee!! We could go further afield in any direction for those who have travelled longer distances for previous meet-ups?

annodomini Sat 19-Apr-14 21:15:42

That's what I thought, when.

Sewsilver Sat 19-Apr-14 21:36:49

Yes!! Great idea.

annodomini Sat 19-Apr-14 22:56:03

Hi Sewsilver. Any suggestions about a venue?

seasider Mon 21-Apr-14 00:04:52

Sounds good !

annodomini Mon 21-Apr-14 19:23:46

Bump

Iam64 Tue 22-Apr-14 18:35:41

I'm away from 14 May for 2 weeks, before and after that can probably fit in with most dates.
What about St Annes? Or, somewhere central in Manchester again - the Trafford Centre worked well I think.

Sewsilver Tue 22-Apr-14 23:05:47

Trafford centre good as fairly easy for most people to get to. Anno it's no use me trying to think of suggestions, my brain is totally full of packing cases. In 3 days I ŵill be in my holiday cottage with no boxes to sort out! After that I hope my brain might start to function again. Of course there's a possibility it might have gone into storage along with the rest of my possessions.

Just tell me when and where. Trafford Centre fine for me but if anyone fancies a trip to the seaside could book something in Lytham or St Annes both of which have a train station .

bikergran Sat 26-Apr-14 18:18:06

ohh Lytham lol.....one day...I hope lol have fun all smile

Iam64 Sun 27-Apr-14 09:28:50

I'd be happy to come to the sea side, seasider.

seasider Tue 13-May-14 23:24:54

Hi this seems to have gone quiet shall we arrange something for after the bank holiday in early June? I do not mind where we go .

whenim64 Wed 14-May-14 21:27:30

Yes, let's agree a date and please would those people who want us to meet somewhere nearer to them shout out? The Trafford Centre is very easy for those of us in the middle of the region, but we're always aware that some travel forty or fifty miles. We could easily shift the venue further afield on the motorway network if you want us all to come to your neck of the woods. Somewhere convenient for parking and easy to find from a motorway junction? smile

hummingbird Wed 14-May-14 22:40:05

Count me in! Trafford Centre fine for me!

annodomini Wed 14-May-14 23:00:07

I suggest that if no more ideas come forward by the end of this week we should plump for the TC again. OK?

whenim64 Wed 14-May-14 23:37:33

Yes, ok for me. Thanks.

seasider Wed 14-May-14 23:57:56

TC fine for me .

Iam64 Wed 28-May-14 07:59:20

TC easy for me, and it'll be good to meet up again. Have we progressed to date fixing whilst I've been away? It's great to be home, after a restorative and relaxing time but oh no, it's pouring down - again. The garden will have to wait, which means I'll feel bound to start washing a pile of clothes from holiday. I thought I'd under packed as well smile

annodomini Wed 28-May-14 15:13:42

Just been waiting for you to get back from your holiday, Iam! What does everyone think about two or three weeks' time and what day of the week is best? I'm pretty flexible.
I will keep on bumping this!

seasider Wed 28-May-14 22:10:38

Thursday is the best day for me but can probably do another day with notice .

annodomini Wed 28-May-14 22:22:16

Noted, seasider, thanks.

whenim64 Wed 28-May-14 22:30:24

Yes, Thursday is fine for me, too. Looking forward to it.

Iam64 Thu 29-May-14 08:30:52

Thursday good for me as well, looking forward to it.

Nelliemoser Thu 29-May-14 08:49:20

A good day for me as well. That will be good.
