When and I have put our heads together (metaphorically) and come up with the second week in November at the Coach House at the Trafford Centre which has suited us well in the past. Could you let us know if you're able to come and which day(s) would suit you best. As far as I know, I'm flexible.

Wednesday or Thursday seem best days so how about 18/19 or 25/26 March? The 26th is not as good for me as I have a dentist appointment but I will change it if that date suits everyone else. When I have a rough idea of numbers I will book somewhere close to the station if anyone coming by train.

Nelliemoser Thu 19-Feb-15 08:57:42

I have never been to Blackpool and there is direct train from Crewe. I am interested.

Nelliemoser Thu 19-Feb-15 09:00:44

Its not a direct line that is me not reading it properly change at Preston.

annodomini Thu 19-Feb-15 09:59:23

Either Wednesday or Thursday would suit me.

whenim64 Thu 19-Feb-15 10:51:52

Yes, include me for a Wednesday but Thursdays are out now I do the school run that day.

Iam64 Thu 19-Feb-15 13:14:45

I can do 18 or 25 March, Wednesdays much better for me than Thursdays (dog training….)

Nelliemoser, I've pm'd you about the train

Hi everybody how about Wednesday 25th ? I will find somewhere close to the station in Lytham st Annes for lunch about 12.30pm. For anybody driving I will give directions from the M55. Marylane you haven't missed it. Nellie there are trains to Lytham from Preston too. Maeve and Genielight will be coming to meet everyone as they are fairly local so should be a few of us.

If there are trains from Preston, then I will see how I am. I've had a relapse with the breathing. I will get to meet you all though sometime. smile

bikergran Sat 21-Feb-15 21:36:16

Nellie just a thought if you happen to travel to Lytham on the train,,when I took GS to Lytham last year I almost got off at the wrong station, just make sure your familiar which one to get off at..I'm sure seasider will point you in the right direction. smile

marylane1996 Sun 22-Feb-15 12:22:55

annodomini Sun 22-Feb-15 13:11:08

March 25th is good for me, looking forward to seeing you all. Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!

seasider Sun 15-Mar-15 07:35:57

Everybody still ok for the 25th? I will book somewhere for around 12.30pm . Anybody else who wants to join us is very welcome.

Nelliemoser Sun 15-Mar-15 23:15:32

I will have to have another look at this I am out wednesday 25th evening as well.

Iam64 Mon 16-Mar-15 13:04:59

I don't expect we're going to the same evening event Nelliemoser but I'm now out in Manchester late afternoon/early evening so may not be able to join the seaside get together this time. Will watch the thread and confirm/otherwise nearer the time.

seasider Tue 17-Mar-15 00:43:01

Thanks I am .Were you bringing Anno? Can we confirm who will be coming just so I have rough numbers to book somewhere. I am sure a few either way will not matter .Look forward to seeing those who can come smile

annodomini Tue 17-Mar-15 18:48:39

I'll try to find a way to get there.

seasider Tue 17-Mar-15 23:05:31

That would be great Anno .Will do a recce from the station on Saturday and give you the details .

Nelliemoser Thu 19-Mar-15 18:49:17

Count me in. I have a cunning plan for my journey . I drive 5 miles north. get train from the station there and go back 5 miles south west to get the mainline train for Preston where I change to Lytham.
Then just reverse it to get home. It makes a lot more sense than it sounds, It's all down to being able to park free (or at all) at the first station.

annodomini Fri 20-Mar-15 12:58:45

I have tried very hard to find a way of getting there by rail and concluded that I could more easily and more quickly reach London. As I can't trust my car at the moment I doubt if I can now make it to Lytham and will be very sad to miss meeting you all. Sorry.... sad

seasider Sat 21-Mar-15 00:08:46

That's a shame Anno. Never mind . We can always do it again in the future. The two new ladies from this area are coming along .

bikergran Sat 21-Mar-15 11:35:52

Hello all....I have had my thinking cap on and there's a slight (well good) chance I may be able to manage to come to the meet smile If I do it will be my first one! So I will need to know where to meet/time etc, I will prob come on the train (although nice ride out on my bike, but would have to leave helmet and gear somewhere as wouldn't want them to think a group of "scary bikers arriving) !
so I will follow the thread, I can walk out of my door, turn left and the train station approx. 200 yards away, can get on train and go straight through to Lytham, I did it last year with GS. bfn.

whenim64 Sat 21-Mar-15 11:43:39

I hoped to come but doing hospital visits at present and Wednesday will either be another visit or I'll be taking my son home on discharge day. If things change, I'll be there.
