I am so sorry, but I can't come on Friday after all; we are in the middle of a crisis to do with my son, and I will have to travel to see him on Friday.

I would have loved to be with you all, but I'm glad there are so many others, and I hope to meet you at a future meet-up.

Have a great time...I'd love to meet there at another time.

Between 11 and 11.30 for a cup of coffee followed by a light lunch.
We are meeting at The Medicine Garden in Cobham. Full details of the location are on its website I believe.
There should be 7 or 8 of us in all which will be great.
Scarf to the ready again !

I'm really looking forward to it, too. We'll be staying up most of the night for election results, so I'll try to grab some sleep between about 5am and 10am! I'm easy about what we eat; I'm allergic to wheat, but most cafes can give me a banana or whatnot. grin Also I will mostly be needing caffeine...

I agree with Purpledaffodil and would prefer the informal sandwich but again I am easy.
I am looking forward to meeting an entirely new group of people.
At our last meet-up in Camberley a new member joined us and expressed an interest in the Cobham meeting. I will try and locate her again and pm her with the details.
See you on post-election day !

Thanks for this Sheena. I quite fancy the informal sandwich, but if others prefer the formal lunch, I would be happy to,go,with that too.
Really looking forward to,the meetup. Never done one before! Thanks for organising this.

A very sunny good afternoon to you all ! Just thought I'd post a little catch up re our Meet up!
I went to the Medicine Garden today for lunch and delicious it was too. themedicinegarden.com/

we ate in the Garden Pod Cafe...a lovely cool room , whilst outside there is an Airstream caravan supplying very good sandwiches. Just right for a light lunch.
The Hothouse Cafe has a more formal menu www.thehothousecafe.net/

if you scroll down their page you can see the menu. It was recommended that I book for us ladies if we all would like to eat in there, as although there is plenty of seating outside, if the weather isn't so good on the 8th then we would need to be indoors, and therefore not so much room..so maybe you could let me know ?...if you fancy the Hot House cafe then I'll book, but if sarnies and delicious cake and coffee brew is in order then I don't need to book !!

So far it looks like there are 7 of us....are there any more takers ?grin

Hope to hear from you
