The weather is great and the Inverary trip is still nearly a month away. Is anyone up for meeting in/near Edinburgh some time in the next week or two?

Hope to see you at the next one, grannyg1

I enjoyed my "awayday" in Edinburgh & meeting you all for lunch x

Just read in the news that there was a crash and fire on the way to Livingstone, and traffic disrupted because of it. Probably still causing trouble generally when you came over.

Marmight Tue 21-Jul-15 09:13:53

I know but some of us were stuck in a jam in Barnton wink

Another great meet-up. So nice to have a good chat and meet a new member. I did wonder what the two women at the next table thought of our conversation - I noticed they went quiet while we were discussing Italian bouncers in kilts.

Marmight - Some of us did walk in the gardens before our meal, while it was still dry.

'Twas good. Roll on next time smile

Lovely to meet you all yesterday. It was a good rendezvous. Hopefully next time we can take advantage of the gardens - if the rain stays off!

Just home after a lovely lunch and chat. Enjoyed our walk this morning after confusion all round but everyone was located in the end. We went to the herbaceous border but couldn't be sure which beech tree we should have looked for Bellasnana however we did think of your mother and sister. Its a lovely place.
Looking forward to the next meet up (no bunk house though!)

Have a great day everyone. Sorry I can't join you, got home last night and have to collect pets and visit MiL today.

Bellasnana Mon 20-Jul-15 08:23:24

Me too. I believe you are meeting in the Botanics? My sister's and my mum's ashes are buried under a beech tree near the herbaceous border.smile
I visit Edinburgh fairly often to see BiL and nieces, but only arrived in UK yesterday so it was a bit too soon to make the trip up north.

Will be thinking of you all anyway brew cupcake wine flowers

Yep. Just looked at the weather forecast. With any luck we'll be indoors for the worst of it. We'll bring our own sunshine smile

My rather elderly sister-in-law needs my support while she goes to hospital for a 'day-bed' procedure. I hope you all have a lovely meet-up! xx
