That is a fabulous shop- we never ever fail to visit it - and it is 3 doors down from Zizzi's- hurrah. Make sure you don't have a big handbag, as it is so full you can hardly move! As the owners are coming up for retirement, I suppose it will go with them as it were. Such a shame. There is another a bit like that in Uppingham- love it.

I love hardware shops and make a point of rooting out interesting ones wherever I go; hope even more I can make it now!

Oh dear, I am so sorry, but I can't make the 29th- going to Surrey early that day. Didn't we agree on Tuesday 27th before? What a shame- or is that a typo? x

Now I am going to try and keep off GN and will be travelling and very busy- but I shall be there, Zizzi's 11.45 for 12.00 in Market Harborough. Looking forward to it.

Just typical - I have to work. I tried to go to a Birmingham meet up a couple of years ago - had bought train tickets and everything and then had to work. I hope you all have a lovely lunch and don't forget my vest warning.

Are there regular buses from Leicester to MH? I've realised I've got to change trains at Leicester and it might just be easier to go by bus.

Have you sorted the bus yet Tegan? I think it is the X3 route, but quite long as it goes to all the villages on the way.

If anyone goes past the station in Leics or does not live too far away- could they possibly pick her up and avoid the hassle of a long bus route? That would be champion x

I'm starting out quite early so it shouldn't be a problem and it might be nice to see the villages...I had a lovely journey back from Leicester on a bus that did the same. It's so annoying that there isn't a through train to MH so I have to travel into Derby to then go back on myself....not a bother if it's then straight through, whereas the bus stops a few yards from my house. Just start the meal without me if I'm late....I will be there! [it's quite an adventure]
