Is it time to meet up again? Any views on where/when/what? Any interesting ideas?

Coming home from Inverary, Baubles and I passed a cinema in Glasgow which relays stuff videod from live theatre/opera/concerts - I forget the name of it. Or for live opera - Scottish Opera are putting on Carmen at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh in November www.scottishopera.org.uk/our-operas/15-16/carmen

Or just a lunch or coffee.

Don't know where the "ly" came from. I didn't type that!

Elegran Mon 19-Oct-15 14:53:35

Its isn't surprisingly we've not seen you then, Geminijen So now you are all fit and raring to go?

Great, Elegran, thanks for doing this.
Hope it is like herding sheep...and not cats....?
Looking forward to seeing you all on Nov 7.

Great stuff, thanks Elegran.

Elegran Sun 18-Oct-15 18:56:04

Like the sheepdog - round 'em up and point 'em in the right direction.

thatbags Sun 18-Oct-15 18:23:38

Goodo! Thank you for doing the booking again and rounding us up!

Elegran Sun 18-Oct-15 17:58:23

I shall book for lunch on Saturday the 7th, then, for 10.

Jane10 Sun 18-Oct-15 15:53:42

Either is fine by me.

Elegran Sun 18-Oct-15 13:49:17

Great! 10.

janeainsworth Sun 18-Oct-15 12:25:47

Elegran my visitors have confirmed they are staying with me 4th & 5th so I'd like to join you if I may.

Elegran Sun 18-Oct-15 11:17:23

Shall I book a table at the ROSL for lunch on the 7th or 8th of November? Which suits everyone best?

Elegran Sun 18-Oct-15 11:15:21

I will, geminijen Look forward to seeing you. Its been a long time since you were at the ROSL that December.

GeminiJen Sun 18-Oct-15 10:57:00

Put me down too please, Elegran.
I'm free on the weekend of Nov 7/8.
Would also love to see The Winter's Tale ...or indeed any of the others you mention if we can agree a date to suit.
Thanks too for doing this smile

Elegran Thu 15-Oct-15 18:01:29

So it does.

Jane10 Thu 15-Oct-15 17:25:31

Royal Overseas League always does us proud........

Elegran Thu 15-Oct-15 16:46:59

I'm getting confused confused with the other thread now. This thread is about lunch, not coffee. Isn't it? blush

Elegran Thu 15-Oct-15 16:44:38

Glad you can come, Jane10 That makes 8 of us.

Thatbags will be coming a long way, so coffee and a bun won't sustain her until her train gets her home. Should we consider lunch somewhere as well?

Jane10 Thu 15-Oct-15 16:38:49

Count me in too! I'd posted on the other Edinburgh thread.

Web page at www1.cineworld.co.uk/theatre-opera-and-event-cinema/#more-about-theatre,-opera-&-event-cinema

Elegran Thu 15-Oct-15 09:30:55

Found it. There is the Bolshoi "La Dame aux Camellias" live from Moscow on 4th Dec and "The Mikado" on 27 Nov from the Colisseum, Judi Dench and Kenneth Branagh in "The Winter's Tale" from the Garrick.

All I can see on the website is fillums - no live transmissions.
