north west meet up

Lovely lunch in Bolton today with Rubylady, Nana3, Emptynester, Littlemisssunshine and Mazza. We forgot to take a photo!

It was lovely to meet you all, thank you all for travelling over and I hope you all enjoyed looking round the garden centre.

Thank you very much for my beautiful card and pressies. I will water from the bottom! And I will enjoy the chocs putting my feet up, thank you.

We'll get a photo next time, already looking forward to it.

It was lovely to meet everyone, hope we can do it again soon. Most were interested in our meet up thatbags hope we are still on for Thursday 4th August, we have to find a venue.

I enjoyed meeting up yesterday, it's good to get out of your comfort zone - I didn't like being the oldest however! Never mind. I hope to get to the meet on 4 August if we can think of a good location. Is it going to be Fylde based, do you think?

mazza we have a possible venue The Villa Express coffee bar, very close to the M55 Kirkham junction. Easy to find. Hope you can make it.

Sorry, just seen your post now. Is that in the Villa at Wrea Green? I'll be able to find that, I'm sure. What time, do you know?

mazza . No not Wrea Green, it's what used to be a big pub close to the exit of the Kirkham roundabout. Go in the Kirkam direction not Fleetwood when you come off the M55. You can't miss it on your right.

It's the Villa Express, when you google it there's a good map. I'll pm my phone number to you in case you need it mazza

Hi . I've just been reading your northwest forum which caught my eye as I too live in Bolton. I would love to meet up with some of you who live nearby. However I am away a lot in our static caravan and visiting family who live in Ireland so am always coming and going ! After the middle of September the calendar is less full so I hope you can include me at one of your meetings. It's good to know you are all out there giving each other support! I have just had my birthday too (64)!
Hopefully I can get to meet some of you sometime. ?

Been to look at the Villa Express, Kirkham roundabout of M55 today and it's lovely. Will look up full address and post it later. They are okay with us going. Is 11am good for everyone? They start serving food from 10am. There's plenty of room for us in the bar area.

Hi ladies, I am sorry but I can't make it after all. I've been in a lot of pain today due to period pain but not much period! Been sat with warm wheat bag on my stomach most of the day (in the shape of a fluffy pink owl), rest sleeping. Even with painkillers it still hurts. Still sore now. I hope you all have a great time and will catch up with you next time. to you all. Xxx

On my way back to my mum's (via the local library to get online for a wee while) from the meetup at Villa Express just off M55. Lovely to meet seasider, nana3, mazza + her friend (do join as "noodles" ) and, towards the end, fran63, who dropped in for coffee.

Great chatting, great food. I'd better get back to my mum pronto before she gets in a tizwaz.
