Meet up in Reading

Hello Hypericum. If you look on the later thread also entitled Meet up in Reading you will see that there is another gathering on Monday 10th April at Pat Val in Broad Street.It would be lovely if you could join us.

Wondering if you are likely to organise a meetup in the near future in Reading or Oxford?

Morning Greenfinch and all the other GN's at the meet up in Reading yesterday, it was lovely to see you all, and nice to meet GdnGuru and Dustyangel. Thanks for arranging it Greenfinch, and apologies for my tardy response. Pat Val was a good choice.

Really great to see everyone in Reading this morning.So much to talk about and lovely coffee and cakes.

Such a good meet up today. And I got the grandsons' birthday presents sorted so a result all round!

Sorry I was late every one! I had a lovely time at the meet up and it was good to meet GdnGuru246 and Auntie Flo. Definitely a good choice of restaurant.

10.30 ish . I popped in there today to get the lie of the land.
I found a large round table with a semi circular seat that would be just right for the size of our group so I asked the garçon if we could reserve it.He didn't see a problem and would ask his manager.It remains to be seen if we are successful.

Sorry you won't be able to make it Cass.We can't predict funerals and they have to take priority. There is no reason why we can't have another meet up before Christmas. Watch this space.

Was really looking forward to meeting up next week, (my first time) but sadly have a funeral to attend. Will there be another one before Christmas?

Hello - just resurfacing after heaps of weeks helping my husband through his cancer treatment and would love to join in a Reading group meet-up if it's not too late....

Just to remind everyone about Wednesday 19th at Patisserie Valerie. There should be 6 of us which will be lovely but we still have room for more if anybody is lurking .

I hope everyone is still OK for the meet up in Reading on 19th October.Because of a poor experience at John Lewis we have decided to try Patisserie Valerie instead.It is in Broad Street very near JL and right by the entrance to The Oracle.So perfect for those walking up from the station or the bus.See you all there.

He's still at preschool but SIL thinks he is going to be getting home early enough on Wednesdays to pick him and his brother up.
