Meet up in Reading

Not anywhere near Reading, but bumping this just in case it might get missed by others.

I live in Oxfordshire near Abingdon but would be interested in a meet-up as I lived in Reading for many years and still go their frequently.

I won't be back in the UK in August but I'm likely to be around some time in the autumn and will be in touch then.

We will definitely have a meet up in the Autumn then dusty.Let us know when you will be back. August is still on if we get enough takers.

I should certainly be able to do August as it'll be school holidays so, hopefully, no babysitting!

Can I suggest a few dates for our possible meet-up in Reading in early August ?

I can manage
Monday 1st
Wednesday 3rd
Friday 5th

or any day the following week.

How does that look?

At the moment any of those seem fine to me, although my diary only goes up to July 12 th at the moment.

Has there been a definite date set yet, for a Reading meet up? I am lurking and wondering whether to be brave enough to join in.

Please do join us*auntieflo*. We shall probably be quite a small group of only four or five and we generally meat in the coffee shop in John Lewis though we are open to suggestions.

We haven't confirmed a date yet so please say which of those I have suggested would be best for you. You are not committing yourself to anything.?

OK, Wed. 3rd it is then. Do we all lurk around the coffee shop. , and how do we recognise each other? Coloured scarf?

We usually sit on the raised bit to the right of the entrance and a coloured scarf tied to a handbag is helpful. We look out for one another too.
