So sorry, but Bellasgran and I won't be able to join you now . It's mainly all my fault, as commitments have arisen which I have to attend to on Friday morning...
We so enjoyed it last year, too.

That's a shame, Marelli. It was fun last time (apart from the aching feet afterwards) Maybe you and *Bellasnan can come another day? I hope all goes well for your commitments on Friday, anyway.

I've been to the zoo today to do a recce before we meet on Friday. Couldn't find my membership card anywhere so had to get a new one - luckily I had the sense to take an old one with me for the membership number, and a suitable photo to stick on it. Good job I have it before Friday. I shall probably find the original any moment, now that I have the new one.

Marmight Are you there? I emailed you to check that you were still on for Friday, but you must be busy with the house selling.

I found my Co op card on the spare bed when I was packing last week; it's been missing for months. Just going to check on train times. Can you remind me what number bus I get from the station (the one after Waverley).

Ignore the mobile phone number on my email to you for the moment - I was prompted to add a phone password, so I did so. Now it won't accept that password!!!!

If I can't get it back, I have lost a whole lot of phone numbers and other stuff. I am about to post a HELP! message on the techy topic.

Well,I think I've worked out the message bit on here. Have just been watching the foxes in the back field with my new super Dooper binoculars (it's taken me two days to work out how to use them and they were recommended for children to use; I'm useless!)...

Phone now sorted! The phone numbers have returned as well. Phew!!

Think I got the last unreserved seat on the Kings Cross train! Was going to go for a walk on the beach but it's just turned cold.And the carpet man did come so we now have a living room with a sofa for me to crash out on, so the temptation is too great. Thanks for a lovely day out.

I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves. The weather was Ok - a few showers but bright in between, and cool enough to tramp about without getting too hot. Nice to meet again, and meet HildajenniJ for the first time. A pity Marmight and Jane10 were invalided out though.
I didn't take any photos, I hope someone else is going to post some.

Thank you Elegran for arranging a lovely day. I've just got home! It was lovely to meet Tegan and baubles. The zoo was much better than I remembered from the last time I was there. (That was years ago). I'll definitely come again.
