Edinburgh mid-December meet 2017

I find a burka works well. I can just have my cosy nightie and slippers under it and no one any wiser. Lovely! Might decorate it with tinsel though.

That's great Katek, I'll wear the one which lights up when I make an entrance anywhere. Do you think the Elf Boots, may be overdoing it? I don't want to lower the tone. It's so difficult to be refined, when you spend so much of the time in the Argy.

I turn my back on you lot for a few days and when I return you are plotting to get us evicted from the douce doors of the ROSL!

I came back to ask what form you wanted the meetup to take? (I don't know why I ask - clearly you'd like it to be a drunken rave in fancy dress) In the past we have had all sorts, from refained dining through talks about beavers and puddling about with strawberries to baiting bossy waitresses.

We will not be thrown out as soon as our plates are empty, but I am not sure whether we will have a private room or be in the restaurant. If a private room (should I see if we can get that?) there is room for more "activity" than in front of other unsuspecting diners.

Elegran May I wear my party skirt? It's long and has hung in my wardrobe with nowhere to go for yonks. Even though we'll be travelling by bus, I would rather wear something a little OTT than my everyday clobber.

Elegran The room we had for last year's Christmas get-together was good. Would it be possible to have that one again, do you think? It's nice to be able to get up and circulate a bit which is difficult in a restaurant.

Don't worry about the "Argy lot" We are very adaptable and versatile, we can do "refined" at a push. Anyway, the really rough Argies are having their own party at another venue.
I believe there is an "empty" up in Argyll somewhere. The householder and her man, complete with sporran are off to Edinburgh for a few days.
Big Jim and Wee Wullie are bringing the restraints, just in case we get out of hand.

Marydoll I've spluttered me coffee all over the place. Oh lord! We've a good reasonable reputation in these 'ere parts. Tell you what...there's a decent beach for camping on. Good views. Otter sometimes pays a visit. Pod of dolphin swam by about two years ago. Only trouble is - there be no booze, no willing fellas (mine's spoken for) and apart from the sound of the sea - no ear-splitting music. So, my advice to the Argy lot is...stay safe in the Caff. There, at least, is a decent pole for laydees to cavort on. There be no poles on the beach. Rocks and pebbles a plenty. No poles!

Elegran I second oldgoat's suggestion. I've a funny feeling that there may be rather a raucous rumpus when us lot gather together. Naturally, I'll be good as gold.

Did yous all know that there's a push to make pole dancing an Olympic sport? Well, a sport anyhow, like synchronised swimming and floor gymnastics.
