Yes a very good choice of county, lots of beautiful places to choose from. Good luck with deciding where, I’ve heard it said that Harrogate has a lot of retired colonels and Ilkley has a lot of people who wish they lived in Harrogate...not sure that’ll help!

Looks like you had a great time! I am moving to Yorkshire in February to be near daughter and take on granny duties. Still deciding where to live (Harrogate? Ilkley? York? ) and busy looking for jobs, houses etc. Am on my own so all a bit daunting, but exciting too! Would love to come to a Jan meet up if it coincides with a visit. Looking forward to exploring this lovely part of the world too....

I’m not a great salad fan either Greyduster but that one had lots of different flavours and textures so it was very tasty.

My favourite salad? - Revel salad. Method : open packet, pour into serving dish, eat.

I was thinking today about the lunch that you and kupari had, artyfarty. Anything with the word salad in makes me want to make the sign of the cross and flee, but it looked so nice I wish I had had it! Good excuse to go again!
