Edinburgh meet up

I'm in Elizabeth ,I enjoyed the company at the Burns lunch so much and would love to meet you all again.

I’ve just come back from a visit to Edinbugh with my oldest GS. It’s a lovely city but, my!, it was perishing on Tuesday. Thank goodness for your pop on and pop off tourist buses as we managed to dodge the worse of the weather.

How about the second and/or third week in June giving us plenty of time to arrange things and hopefully the weather will have improved.

Does it have to be a light lunch

I too would love to come. I thoroughly enjoyed the last one.
Tuesdays are now the best days for me now.
However, once we have decided on a date, I can then try and work around DIL's rota. (When she eventually gets it. )

I can't be there during the third week in June, so would miss Jane. I'd prefer the end-ish of May.

You do know that the ROSL is closed for refurbishment so it can't be there?

May might be a bit quieter than June? There are loads of other places to eat. Recently, we went to 'Cote' in Frederick St. Nice varied menu. I gather they have a large table upstairs but I've been there in a group of 6 as well.

I'm away on hols last week in May (I hope!).

How about Thursday 30th May or Friday 31st I’m Invigilating in May and these are the only days I seem to be free. And yes there are plenty of lovely places to eat in Edinburgh. Ideas for restaurants please.

Me too please, as very much enjoyed the two previous meet ups I came to. Am free both dates in May at present.

That leaves out Marydoll. And are you sure those days are not Wed and Thurs? (or 31st May and 1st June)

I can be there on any of those days. The menu at Cote looks good, and it is central.

Friday 1st of June would be my first choice. Wednesdays are out for me and also can’t do Thursdays as minding DGD4 however she does live in Edinburgh so at a push I could pop along for a wee while.

I’ve provisionally booked Cote restaurant for 1st June for 1.15 I’ll probably have to top up the numbers when all have confirmed. Another super duper get together.
Please can I have all confirmed names by middle May.
