Now I’m back in the uk, I fully intent to make it up to another Edinburgh meet up! Not this one, though, as it coincides with new house stuff .... so hopefully an Autumn one?

Thanks Marelli. I didn't have a party but apparently it was also someone's birthday in a house over the wall at the foot of my garden. They held their party in the garden and were drunkenly singing "Happy birthday to you" at midnight .

There is a possibility that I may not be there either. My last remaining (and favourite) aunt has died at 96. The funeral has yet to be arranged but it will mean travelling down the day before and back the day after.

Would have loved to come to say au revoir, but we take possession of our temporary home down south that day. So driving down to Northumberland then for a recce, prior to the move proper on the following Monday.

Oh no! I hadn't noticed that I'd been struck off the list katek Yes, I am planning to come - been looking forward to it for ages. See you all on the Ist.
