I’m not too far from Derbyshire? Is it particular Belper you want to meet or can you go to a certain radius ?

I second kittylester that always putting Belper into the heading could bring it to the notice of people in or near Belper. Without it, you could be asking if anyone from Land's End to John O'Groats is interested in a meetup - too general to get any local answers.

If you contact GNHQ at [email protected] they will add it to the heading for you.

I agree because not everybody will be bothered to open a heading with "meet up" and no mention of area.

I now see that you started another thread a month or so ago with the heading "New to Belper" but didn't get any replies. Why not widen the area to Derbyshire and see if that helps?

Thing is I'm new to the whole area, I suppose I could get into Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield ok but on leaving the railway station I would be lost. Thanks anyway, at least i know someone is out there!!

You could say in your post that you would like to meet near the station, as you are not familiar with the area? Don't give up!

And mention an area in the heading or get HQ to change yours.

If its Nottingham I could come.
