I've checked and there is veggie haggis on the starters menu.

I don't know if they do veggie haggis but remember that the menu provides very detailed info about what exactly is in the various courses.

It seems to be part of a group of hotels which are all different rather than a chain. It's a funny old fashioned place and all the better for that!! Travel lodges and Premier Inns are all very well but don't have any character.

I wondered whether it was in one of those places where everyone gets the same choice of dishes on the same days from Wick to Penzance. (I typed Panzance at first, very suitable for a restaurant kitchen)

It seems quite an idiosyncratically run place. Hard to imagine it's exactly across the country Elegran.

Wish I could be there! If thyey find that the haggis neeps and tatties are popular, perhaps they will become a fixture on Jan 25th each year? Is their menu a fixed one across the country?
