I really enjoyed our meet ups before Covid. At present I’m not getting out enough. Sadly John Lewis is no longer in Brum, gone, scones and all.
Please post if you are interested in a coffee or lunch meet up. I would love to meet old friends and make new ones. Nonnie, Tegan, Blinko, Hellobaby, I hope we’ll meet again - soon.

13th or 15th is good for me, although would prefer 13th.

Gymstagran Wed 24-Jan-24 12:22:11

Hi, I could do the 13th not the 15th

I am seriously considering 13th AND 15th! Does this appeal? If necessary I will make sure I am at the Exchange at 11 on both mornings!

NannyJan53 Tue 30-Jan-24 08:37:03

I will be there on the 13th! Look forward to meeting some of you.

I now cannot make 15th so it is Tuesday 13th February at The Exchange, Broad Street, opposite the library at 11am.
I am a white haired little old lady with a 3 wheeled Rollator. Probably wearing a pink flowered blue mac and burgundy cords. Greatly looking forward to meeting those who can make it.

Gymstagran Wed 31-Jan-24 14:31:35

Look forward to it

Looking at The Exchange website it seems there is a children’s robot making session on at 11am on the 13th

Would love to join you but being half term don't know what granny duties are required.
Enjoy your meet up.

Hope to meet some fellow grans at 11 on Tuesday 13th February at The Exchange opposite the library and repertory theatre on Broad Street, Birmingham.
Thanks Hellobaby1 - they do an interesting range of activities. I assume that the robots will be in a separate area from the main café!

We use the Exchange Cafe when visiting the S.Hall. It is 5 paces away from the Metro stop. Very nice; quiet, pleasant. Not a big menu - toasties, sausage rolls etc. but nice atmosphere.

I am gutted to say I cannot come today, there is a grandparenting issue I am needed for unfortunately. I hope you all have fun, and we can arrange another one soon, for those of us who have had to bail on you all. Love to you allxx
