Good morning all.

It would be lovely if we had some new members of our group.
Anyone thinking of coming, but not sure, we are very welcoming.
It is always an enjoyable afternoon.

I’m looking forward to our get together too, I’m not from Glasgow but I’ve always been made to feel very welcome 😀

Very regretfully, I have to bow out from the meet-up 😢
We have several friends with serious illness at the moment and we have now arranged to visit one on Tuesday next week so we will be heading for The Wirral on Monday. We will then travel back to West Sussex where I will be relieved to be able to keep an eye on my friend and neighbour who has terminal lung cancer. I was anxious about our original plan to spend the whole month in Scotland as my neighbour has no family or close friends nearby - the downside of living into your 80s+.

I am very sad to miss meeting up with the lovely Glesca Grans and hope there will be another opportunity, maybe later this year.

I'm down south in London but wanted to wish you all a GREAT TIME!!

I’m afraid I won’t be able to make it today. DH had a troubled night and although he is settled now, I’ve barely slept and wouldn’t be comfortable leaving him.

I’m so disappointed not to be catching up with all of you but unfortunately it’s difficult to plan ahead as the last two years have taught me how quickly our situation can change in a matter of hours.

Knowing all of you, it’s sure to be a day of lots of blethering and laughter. Enjoy it dear friends.
